Your company and the tax authority, on one level

Ufuqi is a data exchange platform for horizontal monitoring. The company keeps its current tax position, reports and supporting documents on the platform. The tax authority sees the same data at the same time and sends its questions tied to a specific line of the return.

How it works

Data is uploaded once, both sides see it at the same time, and questions are settled on the line they concern.
  1. Upload a report package

The company uploads its data as a report package. Ufuqi checks it and builds the current working position, line by line of the profit tax return.

  2. See the same position

The tax authority sees the same figures, as of the same date, with view-only access. Every amount shows where it comes from.

  3. Settle questions on the line

A request from the tax authority is tied to a specific line of the return, a contract and an e-invoice. The company answers and attaches supporting documents in the same place.

What's on the platform

Four sections. The company and the tax authority see them the same way; only the access differs.

Ask a question
What is horizontal monitoring?

A form of tax control in which a company gives the tax authority access to its tax data and internal control system, and questions are resolved during the year rather than in a later audit.

Is Ufuqi a government system?

No. Ufuqi is a private platform for data exchange between a company and the tax authority. The company places the data on the platform and grants the tax authority its access.

What does the tax authority see?

The current working position, the reports and the supporting documents attached to them, in view-only mode. Every view and every document the tax authority opens is written to the audit log, and you can see it.

How is sign-in protected?

With two steps: a password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app. Accounts are created by an administrator, with no self-registration. Each company signs in at its own address, such as yourcompany.ufuqi.az; the tax authority and system administrators have their own entrances.

How do requests work?

The tax authority sends a request tied to a line of the return, a contract and an e-invoice. The company takes it up, writes an answer and attaches documents such as an acceptance act. Both sides see the same status: In progress, Answered, Resolved.

Which taxes does it cover?

The platform is built around the profit tax return: its lines, the e-invoices behind them and the supporting documents. You can ask about other taxes during the demo.

Which languages does it support?

Azerbaijani, English and Russian. Each side uses the platform in the language it chooses.
